HD video recording, stunning screen - but can it substantiate the price?
Apple's has released iPhone 4 that has make out a greatest pleasure for an upcoming handsets with HD video recording, a wonderful high-resistive screen and ludicrously slim size that will make it easier to access.
But things are a little dissimilar now - there are finally decent alternatives in the smartphone market, with the HTC Desire and Samsung Galaxy S leading the Android fight right to Apple's door.
Add to that the foremost drip of an Apple product a couple of months before launch, and unexpectedly the iPhone 4 has a lot to do to amaze its customers with.
At least Apple has allow to run free the big arms for this effort - before we get into the headline specs, the design itself is a massive talking point on its own.
Jobs' chats on stage to reveals a new iPhone might have got a little monotonous (best this, magical that etc) but this is the first time since the first iPhone way back in January 2007 that we've seen a disparity on the standard iPhone design.
Gone is the customary curved back and plastic exterior with little obese dimensions; in is a frame that's only 9.3mm thin at its thickest point and a new stainless steel and glass industrial design.
Overall, the design may not make an impression but for some people the first time they pick up the phone - a number of people we showed the phone to express their views.
It's a quick and an elegant phone, which makes no blunder - and it doesn't sit as happily in the hand as well as other iphones of the past have.
But it consider finest, and at up to £600, it is superior - that's a lot to pay when you consider you could get a 42-inch 1080p LCD for £200 less these days.
