Samsung I9000 Galaxy S: Stylish phone with a large touch screen
The newly introduced Samsung I9000 Galaxy S is yet another Android phone launched by Samsung Electronics. It is a large phone with a large 4.0 inches touch screen. Despite its large screen, the phone is lightweight. It measures 9.9 mm in thickness and weight just 119 g.
Remarkable aspects and applications
The AMOLED display of the phone is remarkable and will let you view clear crisp images and videos. The phone has a 1 Ghz processor. The high quality 5-megapixel camera of the phone supports flash, along with HD-quality video recording and playback at 720 p with 30 fps. The camera supports up to 2560 x 1920 pixels resolution for photos and video at up to 1280 x 720 pixels. The camera further comes equipped with various scene modes that include smile-shot mode, panorama mode, a photo-series function, self-shot mode and cartoon mode.
Samsung has added a Social Hub function to the Galaxy S. The Social Hub is an integrated communication application for email, messages, instant messages, contacts and calendar information. The phone also features the TouchWiz 3.0 user-interface. The Galaxy S also supports many Google services including Gmail, Google Talk, Google Map, Youtube and Voice Search. Besides voice search, voice command and text-to-speech has also been included in this phone.
